Antique circa 1900 or thereabouts lovely quality Artisan manufactured Continental silver box in the tradition style finished to the lid and four side walls with heavily pierced and detailed repousse worked Flora and Fauna in closed galleries to the solid frame of the box which is detailed with chase work.
The box features a hinged lid running well, the lid to the box opening and closing without issue.
The box as can be seen from the photographs includes figures of Exotic birds and daisy and sun flowers (or similar).Stamped on bottom. Made in Japan.
The box is in undamaged condition, has a pleasing aged patina but could be cleaned and polished to a high shine if desired. Measurement: 4 3/4 “ L x 3.5” W 2” H
