In a rather traditional manner, a column is represented on the right side behind one of the grapes' leaves. The scene opens on the right to a golden, Venetian inspired sky. Initialed DMG in black lower right, the painting is set inside a carved giltwood frame, adorned with a regular rhythm of flowers.
