This Arthur Secunda rare vintage 1979 Mid Century Modern lithograph Print Paris exhibition poster is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Mid Century Modern poster print is published by Le Chapitre Gallery Paris, printed in France in 1979 by Imp. Tourneville in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of The International Contemporary Art Fair exhibition in Paris.
Arthur Secunda ( B. 1927 - 2022 ) is an internationally renowned artist whose career has spanned eight decades. Known for his brilliant Modernist collages and striking graphics, he is a master of many printmaking disciplines. Secunda considered himself a landscape artist, and developed his own iconography in representing nature, the land it forms, as well as corresponding inner landscapes. The accomplished body of expressive Modern artworks are included in the collections of many of the most prestigious museums including The National Gallery of Art, The Smithsonian Museum Washington D.C., and The Museum of Modern Art New York.
Founded in Paris in 1974 " FIAC " The International Contemporary Art Fair ( Foire International D'Art Contemporain ) brings together Modern and Contemporary Art galleries. All mediums are represented : painting, sculpture, photography, installations,. videos, performance, and digital arts. FIAC galleries brings together more than 200 exhibitors in The Grand Palais in Paris, including many of the most influential artists worldwide in the fields of Modern and Contemporary Art and design. It presents the finest examples of artistic creations since the turn of The Twentieth Century; Modern Masters through to the latest trends.
The rare out of print Mid Century Modern exhibition poster print measures 21" W X 34 1/4" H. It is printed on smooth finish paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a satin eggshell finish.
