This Marc Chagall rare offset lithograph print museum exhibition poster " Study for the Curtain of the Firebird by Stravinsky " 1945, is a very special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The museum poster print s published by The Dallas Museum of Art, printed in 2013 in an unnumbered limited edition on the occasion of the " Beyond Color " exhibition of the artworks of the world famous Expressionist artist Marc Chagall. It features an artwork image originally created by Chagall in 1945 titled " Study for the Curtain of Firebird by Stravinsky ", for the set design of New York City Ballet's production of Firebird.
Marc Chagall ( 1887 - 1885 ) The French Russian born Jewish Expressionist artist is known for both his sense of color and fluid aesthetic. His early Modernist artworks explore concepts and themes of spirituality, angelic influences, and the Jewish cultural; life human experience. Chagall is commonly regarded as the quintessential preeminent Jewish artist of The Twentieth Century. His mastery of the expressive language of color, and creations in nearly every medium and form of art won him recognition as a leading figure in world Modern Art.
The rare out of print museum exhibition poster print measures 28" W X 17" H. It is printed on high quality heavyweight smooth finish paper stock with vibrant ink colors in a satin finish.
