Substantial California School large abstracted landscape painting of a small fishing village in Northern California, with boats along the shore by David H. Granno (American, 20th century). Signed "David Granno" lower right. Presented in a wood frame, shipped without glass. Image, 22"H x 29"L.
David Granno attended the California College of Arts and Crafts in 1936 at Berkeley, California. First Hundred years member, 1953-57 American Watercolor Society. Brilliant Watercolor artist in the California School Style. He studied art in Europe and was an illustrator for the War Department overseas during World War II. less
