Karges was established in 1886 in Evansville Indiana and it is one of the best makers of fine American furniture.
Also world renowned for the beauty of the finishes which include gold like in the wood details of this pair of exquisite Bergeres.
The cushions are still in perfect shape and the chairs are as sturdy as day one.
The red fabric with gold yellow embroidered little dots is absolutely delightful. Purchased at Kravet and originally upholstered by Karges, these chairs are in the original condition.
The fabric does not fade and does not wear out.
I have been the first and the only owner, and I am sure you will love them as I have.
