This magnificent carpet features an incredible, richly detailed border of red, framed by an inner and outer border – also impeccably detailed – of contrasting shades of ivory. All of this frames a large field of deep blue, resplendent with an incredible allover pattern of vine scrolls and abstract floral elements. The superb allover arabesque with prominent botanical and floral features that dances over the field shows a mastery of design and execution.
