The contours are unusually dramatic, with flared pointed corners to the top and curved apron panels to both the front and the sides. The inside surface is blue silk with a metallic silver thread trim - some light staining and wear to the fabric. Good antique condition over all, with signs of age and use, some age separations to the wood. French polished. Possibly Irish. Ca. early 19th century.
