Lustrous raku vase made in the late 20th-early 21st century by Texas ceramics artist Leslie Mitchell. The is signed “Les Mitchell” and stamped with his full name and “Mineola, Texas” which is the location of his studio. Mitchell is known for his unique takes on flash fire raku pottery. Due to the creative process of flashing the finish, each raku piece is one-of-a kind. Stunning colors and beautiful lines give this vase a unique and modern quality. Also features a crackle glaze turquoise rim at the top. Gorgeous metallic luster textured glaze on the exterior makes this an eye-catching piece. Perfect for any shelf, mantle or table.
