The wood has been refinished in a chocolate brown stain protected by a semi matte lacquer finish. The open storage at the top measures 16" long x 11" wide x 6.5" deep, the original jute sides show a patina as expected with age but little to no damage. The frame is black painted steel and the masonite doors, painted in red, yellow and black slide open to reveal storage space 18.5" wide x 15.5" deep x 14" high. The 17.5" x 19.75" slotted wood work surface gives you plenty of space to mix your favorite cocktail.
Lastly the wheels are original and in working condition, but if you don't have to move the cart around a lot, they are easily removed for a more sophisticated look. less
