One handpainted tray nested within, in good condition.

The betel box is in good condition, with little usage wear for its age. Two places on the base shows repairs. It shows pride of ownership from the previous owner. This piece is part of legendary interior designer Lucia Lawrence's private collection and it has been stored in a climate-controlled environment continuously, wrapped in shipping paper. It is clear to us that this betel box was created with a decorative purpose in mind, which is rare for the period and the region.
