The box has cylindrical brass feet and wood veneer lining. Terán (also known as Teran) was a founding member of Los Castillos Metalworks in Taxco, this box is credited to his time there (1939 to 1952). Many of Terán's pieces produced at Los Castillos were unmarked. The box is in good condition, with minor age and handmade imperfections, mostly due to the rustic nature of the piece. It's dated to the 1940s. less
