I had a different painting in mind when I started. It's hard to let go of a preconceived idea but I gave up and let this go where it wanted to go. Influenced by the ocean and whales.

This is professional grade acrylic on a 36" high by 80" wide hollow-core wood panel. The edges are painted and it's wired and ready to hang.

About the artist: Stephen Remick was born and raised in Vermont. He earned a BFA in Painting from Swain School of Design, a small art school in Massachusetts. He resides in a coastal New England town with his wife, Anne Carrozza Remick, who is also an artist on Chairish. Steve's paintings are in private collections all over the U.S. and abroad. See less
