Two female nude studies, mid 20th c., framed and signed Harold Mesibov. One graphite, and one water color. The graphite study has a clear signature, and the water color study has a ghost faded signature. Professionally framed, under glass, in faux weathered grey tone wood frames.
Mesibov was born in Philadelphia, Pa. He was the son of an artist and younger brother of the artist Hugh Mesibov. Both of the Mesibov brothers studied at the Graphic Sketch Club in Philadelphia. They both also were personally connected with Albert Barnes and both studied painting at the Barnes Foundation.
