This 7 piece compote set by Vittorio Zecchin is in pale green and etched with scenes of birds, flowers and early 18th century gentlemen. There is a main compote with 6 accompanying glasses.
Vittorio Zecchin created this set under the auspices of Pauly and Company in the 1930s. Zecchin was born in Murano, Italy in 1872. He became an influential painter, tapestry maker, furniture and glass designer during his lifetime. He died in Murano, Italy in 1947. less
