This table from France features a petite demi lune (half moon) marble top with squared step-out style corners flanking its front façade. The apron is carved with an entwined circular pattern framed within a beaded trim, and flower-head carved plaques above each knee. This table is presented upon a pair of round and fluted legs, that are braced with a concave-shaped carved stretcher bar, which is adorned at a center with a neoclassical-inspired three dimensional finial. Flower-head carved accents, set within squared frames, further embellish the legs just above their peg style feet. The black marble top with grey veining is a nice compliment against the gilded finish. The top is removable for ease of transport and installation. Please note that this table is meant to be secured to the wall. This early 20th century French gilt and marble table, with its smaller footprint of approximately 1.75 feet in width, would be perfect for a niche, end of a hallway, or smaller entry space. See less
