Description: This box is so unique! ...a rare piece of history that has been completely glamorized by it's previous owner. The … more This box is so unique! ...a rare piece of history that has been completely glamorized by it's previous owner. The box itself is a Morgan Cigars box from their TP.1 Florida era. This location operated from 1910-1962. Due to the noted classification on the underside we believe this box was from the early to mid 1950s. The box was purchased by an artist in California who had ties to Bill Curry of Design Line. It is entirely covered in items like broaches, buckles, bows, beads, rings, jewelry, etc and then gilded in a quintessential Hollywood Regency gold. And the opulence does not end there. The interior is lined in a light blue (very early 70's shade) of felt and outlined with some gold trim. It is spacious and could hold a wide variety of treasures. The underside is marked "TP.1 Florida, Morgan Cigars" and also notes the class of cigars.
