This is a contemporary style ceramic glazed vintage basket in an all-over white background basketweave pattern with hand-painted flowers on one edge of the handle. The flower stems appear to cross over one another and rest gently upon the edge of the basket, creating a Trompe L'Oleil effect.
It is in excellent condition.
The original manufacturer's seal is intact on the underside, "Portugal."
