The goddess is seated in lalitasana on an elaborately incised double-lotus base with the pendent foot resting on a smaller lotus, the right hand extended in varadamudra and the left held in vitarkamudra. She is clad in an embroidered dhoti that ties around her waist, leaving the upper torso bare showcasing lariats of necklace and jewel-encrusted bracelets. The face with down cast eyes above pursed lips, flanked by large rosette style shoulder duster earrings, under hair arranged in a tall chignon surmounted by an elaborate crown. The Green Tara, with one of her feet stepping down from the throne, is a beloved deity who is the first God to help easy suffering. 6.5 lb. See less
