Bought in Christie’s South Kensington (London) 1984 to decorate my dining room sideboard.
Beautiful Amari floral pattern with vibrant oranges, pinks, cobalt blue, and goldish colour edging.
On the back of the platter are the 1920’s blue Minton markings. A horizontal line and parallel lines with dates and imprinted potter’s number.
There is minor peeling to the goodish colour edge and some yellowing on the bottom and very minor grazing which does not take anything away from the beauty nor the value of this beautiful dish.
Please note: I could not find the original invoice from Christie's. I did researched the date following the marking on the bottom of the dish and hope that I am correct.
