For Sale is a decorative Wall Plate by Biagioli of Gubbio, Italy 60'.
It rare Burgandy Border is a Beatiful Background for the Blue Feather Plumes or Leaves.
It measures 8 5/8" across x 1 1/4" deep.
The holes that are needed to thread the wire through. One hole is stable but looks like there's a slice in it. I don't think this affects the stability.
It's of clay from the Gubbio area.
The glaze is an overall sponged on brown. The hand painted design has a majolica ware look, Old World Italy.
The design is by Biagioli.
Well marked on the backside.
