Unique, late 19th century set of Tudor Revival style diamond pattern colored leaded glass casement windows. Upper transom consists of three panels with ornate lead design. The first has a figure with horn and spear. The second panel contains a beautifully detailed sailing vessel. The third shows a Robin Hood type figure with bow and arrow, a dagger at his side and wearing "poulaines" and a feathered cap. Lower windows have three small vignettes placed within the leading. There is a sailor in his ship with the figures of a horned devil and a figure with halo and cross, possibly St. Nicholas, patron saint of sailors. A second contains a portrait of the Portuguese explorer Vasco de Gama and the third, an ornate sailing vessel with figureheads of a soldier and a sea monster. Polychrome panes are in shades of pale blue, lavender, rose, green and yellow.
**Restoration included – meaning panels will be flattened and any broken panels will be replaced.
**Please note that the windows are secured in a temporary wood frame and will need to be set into a permanent frame either for display or as a functioning window again. less
