A wonderful French 1930 art deco ceiling light in nickel plated bronze or solid brass holding a large globe in clear frosted molded-pressed glass by Muller frères the famous glass manufactory from Luneville France. This model (called boule aux bandeaux) was produced in two sizes. The one on this flush mount is the large version with a 25 cm diameter (9.84 inches). The shade is signed Muller freres Luneville and represented in the old Muller product catalog as model #5961.
The lamp has a total drop of 29 cm (11,4 inches). It is in very good condition. I have re-nickeled and patinated the fixture. It comes newly wired with an American standard socket.
