Description: This is a classic mid 20th Century vase created by the Kenzan Toen (虔山) - Ceramics of Gifu Prefecture (Mino … more This is a classic mid 20th Century vase created by the Kenzan Toen (虔山) - Ceramics of Gifu Prefecture (Mino Yaki) - an atelier in Toki, Japan which is reknowned for its clay and the traditional pottery wares that were produced for several centuries.

Although the company was originally founded in 1959, it now exists as Kenzan-Yakimono and no longer creates tea cups, kettles, vases or decorative objects, but rather devotes itself to producing tiles.

This vintage circa. 1960s vase measures 3 1/4" in width, has a flat round base that is 2 1/4" in diameter, a mouth that is 3/4" in diameter, and is 8 1/4" in height. less
