A pair of Japanese menuki from the Edo period.
Sold as a set of 2.
Finely cast gilt bronze depicting karashishi.
Menuki are woven under the tsuka-ito to hide the mekugi pins, which secure the tsuka to the tang of the blade on a Japanese katana.
Displayed on a custom stand.
