Description: Fantastic pairing of Italian design and ceramics from Rosenthal Netter. A tall ceramic lighter and wide ashtray in a burnt … more Fantastic pairing of Italian design and ceramics from Rosenthal Netter. A tall ceramic lighter and wide ashtray in a burnt orange glaze. The lighter has a Rosenthal Netter paper label and Made in Italy. The Ashtray has no markings. The lighter is 2 pieces, the body that measures 6" tall and 2" in diameter and a separate brass lighter that fits into a cavity at the top of the body. The overall height is 7". The ashtray is 2.25" high and 9" in diameter. The condition of the lighter is very good vintage with minimal wear and no apparent chips. The ashtray presents well. There is scattered glaze flaking to the underside foot-ring which is not visible unless the piece is turned over (see photos) and a few glaze flakes to the interior. Great mid-century presence. In the style of Aldo Londi for Bitossi or Alvino Bagni.
