UN ESTAMINET - A TAVERN
Rare antique engraving of a group of peasants inside a pub. This is a vibrant pub scene. A woman holds a tall glass of ale, a man behind her holds a fiddle, a man filling his jug from a near empty keg and a child sits on a woman's lap. Great detail throughout.
The engraving shows various notes such as plate no. 459, a title at the lower middle, and various names that were involved with the printing. Created on fine laid paper.
The engraving measures 4.25" x 5". The paper measures 5" x 7".
Good antique condition with some foxing throughout. The images uploaded here show the true condition of the engraving.
Comes unframed. Be sure to use archival materials when framing to protect this for the decades to come.
