This Really is a Absolutely Beautiful & Very Unusual Set of 7 Antique Austrian Majolica Plates. Circa Very Early 1900s. They are Embossed - Stamped with a Beehive Mark that I am Quite Confident Indicates that They Were Made in Austria. Based on the Size ( 10 1/2 Inches Long ) They Could be Either Dinner Plates or Luncheon Plates. They Have Very Nice Molded - Embossed Features that Depict a Fish. Each has Beautifully Hand Decorated Multi Color Features. Note that Because Each of 7 Plates were Individually Artist Decorated There are Some Color Variations. Note Also! That 1 of the 7 Plates is Distinctively Lighter in Color. The Set is in Very Good Overall Condition and Displays Beautifully. There is some Very Faint Surface Glaze Crazing as a Result of Age this Being Quite Common With This Type of High Gloss Glaze Majolica Pottery. No Surface Knife Use Marks - No Repairs. You Might Find a Few Tiny "Flea Bite" Glaze Chips Around the Perimeters but You will Have to Look Hard to Find Them. All 7 are on Perfectly Usable Condition. NOTE - That One of the Plates Does Have Very Minor Factory Imperfection - Shrinkage Crack that Extends from the Rim. This is Not a Inflicted Damage as it is Actually a would Have Occurred in the Kiln Firing Process - Please See The Last Photograph in my Listing.
