A gorgeous hand decorated Pembroke table in Hepplewhite style. This table has two drop leaves which lift to form an … more A gorgeous hand decorated Pembroke table in Hepplewhite style. This table has two drop leaves which lift to form an oval top with kingwood cross banding. Hand-painted with traditional ribbons, swags, leaves and flowers, which includes lily of the valley and bell flowers, this table is raised on decorated square tapering legs. The banded drawers with hand painted swags on each end have working locks and keys for each side. Open, the table forms an oval shape measuring 38" x 30.5". Each leaf has a 10" drop.

Note: This was purchased in the early 1990's in a NYC antique shop as a high quality vintage piece. Maker unknown. May be English, but also at that time Italy was making some fine furniture like this in Traditional English styles.
