They … Read more This is a set of 4 French fashion designs (croquis) for ready to wear fashion from the early 1940s. They are original to the 1940s and NOT recent reproduction prints. The fashion notebook “Tout pour vous” (All for You) was a collection for the chic woman who desired the latest of fashion. These design plates were numbered and featured the full-frontal view as well as a detailed rear view of the design. They are timeless "ready to wear' designs with classic mid-century styling. Perfect for today's fashionista or vintage clothing collector. Note the details in the designs! Note too the accessories. (hats, bags, gloves, shoes!) Also note the gestures and hints of attitude. Each has wonderful crisp, strong color. They are pristine. Makes for a great collection of wall décor. 8 x 12 inches in size, done on thick paper stock. The notations on the bottom of each design further describe details of the ensemble. See less
