This set of two red Eames LCW chairs is versatile and can be used in a dining room, living room, bedroom, den or man cave.
The LCW stands for Lounge Height (L) side chair (C) on wood (W]. Originally designed by Eames in 1946, these iconic chairs continue to be produced today. The label on these chairs indicate that they were produced between2003 and 2007, however, they are actually dated 2007.
The chairs are made of five layers of molded plywood. They have also been nicknamed potato chip chairs because the back and seat resemble the shape of a potato chip. The iconic shape would also complement other furniture styles.
The chairs are structurally sound, however, there are some areas where the stain has been scraped off and other areas where something white has rubbed off onto the chairs.
