According to the artist, the idea for this lovely painting was sparked from a road trip in the mountains, and as they were driving down the dirt road depicted in this painting, she looked out the window and wondered what was beyond the horizon. The flower lined country road with darker brown tire tracks initially draws the viewer in and the white clouds hovering above the mountains in the background hold your attention. This piece of original artwork would look amazing displayed in any space with it’s subdued coloring of blues and greens and rusts and yellows.

About the Artist

Arizona artist Jennifer Thomas has been painting and drawing since the age of 5 years old and continues to do so to this day. Painting is her life and a great big part of who she is. According to Thomas, everything inspires her and each painting holds a special part of her.

“When I am not creating a painting, you can find me remodeling or sculpting a new horse. I have been experimenting in creating other animals, but I have not quite perfected it yet. My main passion is painting, and I paint a variety of subjects and styles. My model horses are not for sale they are my private collection.” See less
