This painting has five young chicks … more We are selling this very pretty Chinese, or more likely Japanese, watercolor scroll painting. This painting has five young chicks hunting an earwig or other insect below a small group of Chrysanthemum flowers and bamboo shoots. The painting is signed in the lower left.

Condition: Slightly difficult to photograph accurately under glass. Some wrinkling and creasing to the scroll painting with wear and light fauxing and areas of water damage. Scroll may have been cut down.
