In the tradition of the American south this secretary desk was lovingly crafted to be cherished for generations. A reproduction of a fine mahogany circa 1770 antique secretary from the Lightner estate in Williamsport, MD. Named "Garden of Eden" secretary by Statton Furniture Manufacturing Company. Featuring solid mahogany and figured mahogany veneers, brass hardware with a patina resembling antique pulls and a rich brown finish with a warmly shadowed effect. "Yesterday's treasures for today's homes" ~ Statton Private Collection secretary desk showcases the timeless design and characteristics of 18th Century design.
