The top has scalloped and shaped edges, which are beveled and molded and follows dow to hand paneled sides, which are also shaped. The commode has two drawers in the front, both with shaped and carved molded drawers with the most exquisite hand cast detailed hardware we have ever seen. The case is supported on hand shaped legs, decorated on the front legs, with beading and a shell detail at the knee, and ending in scrolled feet. Absolutely fabulous piece of French furniture. less
