Description: Very tasty duo of mid-century modern birds in a stylized shape and wonderful glaze pattern.
the downward looking animal has … more Very tasty duo of mid-century modern birds in a stylized shape and wonderful glaze pattern.
the downward looking animal has a cheerful flower pattern on both wings. The upward looking bird has a herringbone pattern on its wings.
the thick white lava glaze really stands out against the black ceramic. The sparsely applied red and turquoise accents are a rare exception to this.
the style reminds us strongly of the artworks by vallauris.
