Crafted by the French company Raingo Freres, signed on base. Solid green marble Ovid urn form richly decorated with floral and leaf festoons and a beautiful maiden with flowers and wheat in her hair, the relief and detail of the bronze work is incredible. Body is resting on a double plinth base in green and dark green marble. Raingo Freres, established in Paris in 1813, specializing in high precision clocks and bronze work during the empire and restoration period. Vintage wiring, double socket with pull chain. less
