It's a custom handcrafted beauty. The scalloped shape of the table runs through to the apron and down the legs and stretchers, so many curves - such a beauty. The custom shaped thick tempered glass has and will continued to protect the desk top. The center figures is of a lovely lady with cherubs hovering about waiting any command to obey. However, nothing is perfect, an ormolu piece is missing from the base of one of the legs. Brackets were added and judging by the screws in the early to middle 20th Century for support this would ensure the table top from separating from the body of the table (see pic). We will continue to research and replace it with an identical piece. See less

Please keep in mind that this is aa antique piece that may have signs of normal wear, this is what gives it, its character and confirms its age. Some color variation in photos of our furniture finishes and fabrics is possible due to the lighting and different color resolution on computer monitors. There is a missing ormolu piece at the base of one of the legs (we are researching and hope to replace it with identical piece). Right corner in back of the table shows wood splitting, does not affect structural integrity. Note: Please review all photos, as they are considered part of the item description. less
