It was produced in the Zsolnay Porcelain Factory in Pecs, Hungary in the 1990s exclusively by The Orange Chicken. This gunmetal glazed porcelain piece has an iridescent finish that is achieved by exposing the hot glaze to vaporized metal. This piece is not signed, but is noted in “Eva Zeisel: The Shape of Life.” The points on the underside where the stilts supported the carafe in the kiln are visible. less
