This Rare & Stunning Vintage Wedgwood Crystal Ships Decanter in Heavy Cut Crystal is in excellent condition and retains it's original stopper. The production of the "WWC4" pattern ships decanter was discontinued by Wedgewood, along with all the other ships decanter in the other cut crystal patterns, making this piece very rare and collectable for those with a decidedly old world-elegance style in their barware. One especially lovely detail is the star at the bottom of the decanter, which demonstrates a lovely attention to detail. Ships decanters are so called because of the extra wide base in the design which was thought to have been less likely to tip over as compared to the narrower landlocked styles. This is perfect for the seasoned connoisseur and collector or a novice looking for quality, streamlined elegance and a bit of history.
