RARE Silkscreen Print
This distinctive pop art image whose colors serve as the initial bait to gain the viewer’s attention with a subject matter that hooks you and keeps you captivated. This work is provocatively flirtatious, highlighted by playful titles such as “The Redhead”. The subject is broken down into vibrant segments and captures her forever in paint. The viewer is allowed to ponder, without preconceptions, the seductions and the fantasies of this voluptuous Redhead.

A serigraph is a high quality, limited edition fine art print, made on high quality absorbent paper in collaboration between the artist and a professional printer.
Serigraphs tend to be more valuable and expensive, even compared to limited edition lithographs, and so, it seems to be the obvious choice as a collectible.
In serigraphy, multiple colors are often involved, each color being applied separately to achieve a perfect image. The technical possibilities are almost limitless, as are the effects, which range from flat, simple colors to richly textured surfaces.
Silkcreen Printing, also goes by the term: Serigraph. The Word Serigraph is a combination of two Greek words, seicos, meaning silk, and graphos, meaning writing. Silkscreen Printing and other stencil-based printing methods are the oldest forms of printmaking.
I purchased this wonderful original silkscreen art at an upscale gallery in Baltimore MD in the mid 1970's. The gallery had it under the acetate cover for protection but I never got around to framing and hanging it and after downsizing no longer have wall space. This is a special piece that deserves to hang prominently in an art lovers home.
Kept in NO smoking and pet free home.
I can ship this art in a box with acetate protective cover or remove and roll and ship it in mailing tube. less
