Exquisitely hand-crafted in France at the turn of the late 19th / early 20th century, most likely Parisian work, attributed to workshop of important ébéniste Francois Linke (1855–1946), exceptionally executed, having a stunning partially inset oval breccia violetta marble top with dramatic veining, rich mahogany frame garnished in finely chiseled, chased and sculpted classical garland swag gilded bronze mounts, rising on transitional cabriole legs, joined by serpentine shaped X form cross-stretcher oval figured mahogany shelf with reticulated brass gallery.
