Lid twist to … Read more Antique original working Wilcox Crittenden alcohol filled bronze compass in brass case. Very unique brass fitted case. Lid twist to lock. You find many in wooden fitted boxes but not a lot with this type of brass case. Compass and case are all original with nice patina. No leaks and works properly. Name is stamped on the bottom of compass. Piece was purchased from a Indianapolis naval graduate. Claims it came of an early wooden lifeboat. See less
