As the modern world has evolved so to has the Zulu tribesman. These shields are no longer used in battle but instead used for traditional Zulu ceremonies such as weddings in telling historic ancestry stories. These carved wood designs painted in bold black and white patterns continue to have a striking modern form displayed in groupings. Each may vary slightly due to unique hand carvings. Comes with hook attached on back for hanging on wall.
