This Menashe Kadishman rare vintage 1981 lithograph print Tel Aviv Museum large Pop Art exhibition poster is an incredibly special and unique piece to add to your collection.
The Pop Art poster print is published by The Tel Aviv Museum in 1981 to accompany the exhibition " Paintings 1979 - 1981 " of the artist Menashe Kadishman. It is printed in Israel by Kal Press in an unnumbered limited edition, color separation and plates by Reprocolour, design by Varda Raz.
Menashe Kadishman ( 1932 - 2015 ) is an Israeli born Jewish Modernist Pop artist most famous for his metallic sculptures and colorful sheep paintings. Kadishman's artworks are presented in central locations throughout Israel. He is often referred to as " The heart and soul of Israeli Art ".
In his Youth he worked as shepherd on a kibbutz. This experience with nature, sheep, and shepherding had a significant impact on his artworks and creative career. The instantly recognizable sheep portraits became his artistic " trademark ".
