The table features 3 porcelain monkeys … more A rare whimsical vintage Blanc De Chine 3 monkeys playing a banjo coffee table.
The table features 3 porcelain monkeys sitting on a black base and topped with a half inch thick round glass.
I acquired the table as you see it here. I'm not sure if the top center part is original.
The center features a porcelain like slender ginger jar support with 2 metal caps and the 3 porcelain monkeys around.. The half inch thick glass is sandwiched in between the metal top pieces. ( The glass will be removed for shipping safety purposes)
The monkeys are large wearing a cute hat and jacket, sitting elegantly holding a banjo.
The base is made of wood and painted black.
It's a very unusual coffee table and such a rare beauty. less
