Inspired by the architecture of ancient Greece and Rome, it features a rectilinear framework enhanced by subtly curved table ends, tapered legs with arrowhead feet, and bowed stretchers for added strength that maximizes foot room. The elegant lines of the apron are enhanced by a raised panel effect, and each leg is carved on the main facades with floral sprays in fine relief. The top is a checkerboard parquet arranged diagonally for a splendid finishing effect.
