This hand painted pedestal teacup and saucer set was made by the Trimont China Co. and it was made in Japan during the occupied Japan era which ranged from 1945-52. This teacup and saucer set was hand painted with a lovely iris flower on the saucer and a passion blossom on inside of the bowl of the teacup that was done with a black background and gold gilding. The teacup measures 3 3/4" wide with the handle by 1 5/8" tall, the saucer is 4 7/8" wide by 5/8" tall, and this set is in "Pristine Condition" with no chips, no cracks, no repairs, no crazing to the glaze, and very little wear to the set for the age of it.
