Lynas was a successful doctor who developed and sold a line of home remedies in the late 19th century in Logansport, Indiana. By 1874 his business was so lucrative that they had to move to a larger facility, and by 1906 they employed over 1400 employees.

So was this potion the real deal, or was Dr. Lyna a marketing genius? We'll never know, but it's fun to speculate. less
