Lovely collection of J & G Meakin English ironstone transferware saucers in cocoa brown and white. A strong American patriotic themed set with a central montage of a drum, sword, crossed spears, and "Old Glory" surrounded by a border of mountain encircled lake scenes and laurel leaf medallions. Mark en verso: Americana Style House Ironstone, everlasting colour, J. & G. Meakin England. We believe these to be from the mid 20th century but have been unable to definitively verify that.
